Usually vitriolic, at times bellicose; I'm not here to be nice
Each Friday, something to think about
A walk on the natural side each Sunday (or Monday...)
The Apothecary - A place to find natural products and remedies
So how have we gotten so far off course? When the label of ‘green’ was introduced, it was seen as a mission statement; something that would entitle the customer to some sense of comfort that they product they were supporting (which was usually more expensive) was working with the Earth’s best interests at heart. Instead we have simply completed a full consumerist revolution; the label has been taken, assigned a cultural identity and used to sell a piece of a lifestyle that is intended to speak more to your peers than to subsidize an environmental commitment.

Wow … I wrote a whole response to this and WordPress said I wasn’t logged in (which I am) and erased my comment. Drat! Well … let’s see if I can do a quick recap (and hopefully wp won’t bounce me out again).
The comment that all of the animal is used is very interesting. That almost sounds like a good thing. They fail to acknowledge, however, that they are using chemicals to treat those “parts”. Not such a good thing! All in all … I’ll stick with a vegetarian diet! đŸ™‚
I’ve added a link to your site to today’s Super Star Saturday link-up at My Baby’s Green (http://www.mybabysgreenblog.com/2012/03/super-star-saturday-with-linky_17.html). Have a great weekend!

@SF, I have had that happen more than once, which is why I always ctrl+c before I post comment; that way, I’ve covered my butt.
I thought of you when I was preparing this pink slime stuff and figured out your response…
My view is if it needs to be treated for bacteria, then it’s not good. Simple.
Thanks for the link.
