Last week’s Change the World Wednesday was about chemicals in our health products, not all chemicals, because everything is chemicals, but some chemicals are extremely bad for us. It was during the research for this post that I came across something that annoyed me, no it actually pissed me off.
The desensitising of toxic waste.
Products for kids particularly.
Take a look at these examples.
All these products desensitise people, kids are particularly vulnerable, to the labels that signify real toxic waste.
When they are faced with the real thing
Their immediate reaction is, “Oh Wow, toxic waste is fun!”
Where are our brains people? Where lies the responsibility of teaching kids that toxic is just that, TOXIC.
Toxic is not fun, toxic is dangerous, toxic can KILL you!
But, who cares? Toxic sells products. Companies that make these products don’t care as long as the profits keep rolling in.
Parents, you should ban these products from your home, teach your kids that these are not fun products, but they are a threat to their health and life.

The waste from selling these products probably becomes toxic waste to the environment.

I’ve always known that advertisers spin their message but this is just wrong … and so dangerous!
