Usually vitriolic, at times bellicose; I'm not here to be nice
Each Friday, something to think about
A walk on the natural side each Sunday (or Monday...)
The Apothecary - A place to find natural products and remedies
So how have we gotten so far off course? When the label of ‘green’ was introduced, it was seen as a mission statement; something that would entitle the customer to some sense of comfort that they product they were supporting (which was usually more expensive) was working with the Earth’s best interests at heart. Instead we have simply completed a full consumerist revolution; the label has been taken, assigned a cultural identity and used to sell a piece of a lifestyle that is intended to speak more to your peers than to subsidize an environmental commitment.

I agree there are people that stupid. Where I live we have plenty of hunters, I applaud those that find their own food, take only what is needed and pass the rest on to those less fortunate, but we also have a large segment who condemn the hunters while still buying all their meat at the store. I never quite get it.

I think if you use the word ‘hypocrisy’ that would about sum it up… đŸ™‚ With the latest horsemeat scare that is going round Britain and Europe at the moment, I wouldn’t be surprised if there were more hunters wanting a guarantee on where their meat comes from.
